Nadine Shah 10.45 – 11.15pm

British born by way of Norweigan and Pakistani parentage, Nadine Shah is a vocalist/pianist from a small North East town called Whitburn over looking the waves and jagged rocks of the North Sea. Nadine has recently completed her debut album "Love Your Dum and Mad" with producer Ben Hillier.


Tessera Skies 10.00-10.30pm

The Newcastle three-piece, Tessera Skies, is the eventual result of four years intermittent writing and recording between university studies. Coming from collective backgrounds in speech, sound, science, classical and jazz, they write music to satisfy their love of pop, ambience and the orchestral. The name was inspired by the meaning and interpretation, both artistically and scientifically, of the sky.


Faith Elliot 9.15-9.45pm

Singer/songwriter from the North East of England. Faith started playing guitar 3 years ago mainly covering songs and posting these on youtube and gaining a massive following, currently residing on over 4100 subscribers. Faith has spent the last 5 months writing her own songs, and recently recorded demo "Stop" has been picked up by the likes of Amazing Radio and BBC Newcastle for BBC Introducing. With only 3 gigs under her belt, Faith was recently asked to support Lulu James and Jazz Morely.


Micky Moran Parker 8.30-9.00pm

'Micky Moran Parker has created a distinctive sound that combines deep-rooted soul vocals with atmospheric electro soundscapes to create a dynamic modern-retrospective. With influences from delta blues, early soul, and 80s minimal synth, the sound pushes a genre of 21st Century Blues and Soul that is spanning the boundaries of contemporary music. Working with acclaimed producer Dom Zilla on his debut album, Micky Moran Parker is making waves in 2013 with his self-aware and soulful, Shifting Sounds.'


Agerskow 7.45-8.15pm

Agerskow is Yorkshire-born, Newcastle upon Tyne-based singer and songwriter Kate Edwards. Citing influences such as Eels, Sharon Van Etten and Belle & Sebastian among others, Kate blends accessible melodies with confessional lyricism that hints at the more fragile sides of human emotion. Kate has opened shows for Cherry Ghost, Dark Dark Dark and Withered Hand, and in October 2011 played at a sell-out show at the Albemarle Music Centre in Hull backed by the Hull Philharmonic Orchestra. Agerskow release debut single, double A-side 'This Train Terminates'/Fast Hands', on the North East label Cottage Industries on 18th March 2013.
