Tyneside based Amazing Media Group are set to expand globally, announcing plans to set up radio stations in Brazil, Japan and the US as a platform to promote artists from the North East and further afield.
The Company’s DAB station ‘Amazing Radio’, based in Gateshead exclusively plays music from unsigned and emerging artists, with playlists selected by listeners.
The group also set up Amazing Tunes, a digital download platform that enables artists to sell their music and receive 70% of the revenue generated.
The planned expansion into global territories has been assisted by a £240, 000 grant from Regional Development Agency One North East.
