Radio Roundup: Moyles Rants, Global rebrands

BBC Radio One breakfast DJ Chris Moyles launched an astonishing tirade against his employers over pay live on air yesterday. Moyles said: "I'm very, very angry for being put into this position. I haven't been paid since the end of July and no-one cares about it."

The Futureheads and Heartstrings to play Radio One Newcastle show

North East artists The Futureheads and Frankie and the Heartstrings have been announced to play at the O2 Academy in Newcastle as part of a series of live shows put together by Radio One.The show will take place on Thursday 4th March and is the first in a live programme of ‘In New Music we trust' events within the City, promoted by Radio One. The Courteeners and Chapel Club are also on the bill.
