Epic sounding North East act Detroit Social Club (DSC) have scored a major coup by having some of their songs synced to major events during the forthcoming football season, which kicks off this weekend.
The band announced that recent single ‘Northern Man’ is to be played as in-show sync music for Premier League football games shown on Sky Sports this season. In addition, album track ‘Prophecy’ will be used during football league shows.
The band released their debut album ‘Existence’ at the end of May this year through Fiction records. DSC have followed hot on the heels of Kasabian, who earlier this month signed a high profile deal with the football Premier League for the band’s hit ‘Fire’ to be used for the next three years before and after all live matches shown on television outside of the UK and Ireland.
In related news Frankie and The Heartstrings have also landed a football related synch for a quiz show called Take It Like A Fan to be broadcast on Sky Sports.
