Following the partnership of music companies HMV and MAMA Group to form the Mean Fiddler venue network earlier this year, the companies recently announced details of a new festival for emerging talent.
Entitled The Next Big Thing, the events will take place in February 2010 at various Mean Fiddler and MAMA owned venues across London, including The Borderline, Camden Barfly and The Garage.
Each venue will host three such bands each evening, and admission will be £10. Bands already confirmed include The Soft Pack, Cate Le Bon and The Slow Club.
