Major league North East pop acts such as Maximo Park, Frankie and the Heartstrings, Detroit Social Club and The Futureheads have all been confirmed for Sunderland’s annual Split festival in September this year.
The festival, which started up last year and takes place at Ashbrooke Sports Club in Sunderland on the weekend of 25th and 26th September will also feature some great acts from out of town such as Hot Club De Paris and Errors.
It is Maximo Park’s only live show in the region announced for this year so far and The Futureheads are billed as making a ‘Special appearance’.
Early bird tickets purchased before the end of August will be £25 for both days or £15 for one.
