Young Musicians Fund deadline 3rd October

Young Musicians Fund was established in 1996 by Kathryn Tickell to develop the musical skills of children and young people in Tyne & Wear, Northumberland and Durham under the age of 18 who are struggling to pay for tuition fees or want help to purchase an instrument. 

The Community Foundation provides grants and other support to groups and individuals in the Tyne and Wear and Northumberland areas, thanks to the donors who choose to give through them they match applications from groups and individuals to their donors’ interests. The Foundation also run the Sammy Johnson Memorial Fund for performers and the Alan Hull Award for songwriters (deadline also 3rd October).
