Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt plays host to the next A&R Seminar focusing on Music Publishing.
This SPEAR:TALK event will look at the issues, barriers and practical opportunities facing those involved or interested in today's music publishing industry. Overflowing with practical advice and insightful analysis from three of the biggest names in UK music publishing:

Craig Michie – A&R scout, Chrysalis Music
Ryan Farley – A&R, Warner/Chappell Music Publishing
Stephen Jones – A&R consultant (The Killers, Queens of the Stone Age)

Topics covered will include :

• The increasing importance of publishing income to artists/songwriters
• Creative publishing strategies and the publisher’s role in breaking new talent
