There's a wide range of musical and vocal tuition on offer, alongside music production sessions to encourage collaboration between groups of young people.
Over the course of the week you'll try out a few different styles and experiment, whilst taking part in photoshoots and recording sessions.
The course will allow young people to create their own music through song writing workshops that includes writing lyrics, they will then develop their original songs through instrumental and vocal workshops. Professional studios and recording equipment are used to capture their music and give the participants invaluable experience with music technology and working in a studio environment. This will then culminate in a live performance of the new material in a top venue, the young musicians and vocalists will learn stagecraft techniques and all aspects of live performance. In addition to this training UMT: PLAY provides talks from industry experts that cover certain business aspects of the industry.
