Young producer Karma Kid has already had this track championed by Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw. It was only last week when Grimmy dropped ‘It’s Always’ in his sound clash against Zane Lowe on Lowe’s evening show. Another Radio 1 DJ that is digging this track is Annie Mac, who described the track as ‘sick’. Such praise is not too shabby to the say the producer is relatively unknown, but for how long that will last remains to be seen.
With such acts as Surrey-born brotherly duo Disclosure currently blowing up on the dance music scene it seems as if Karma Kid could be set to follow suit seeing as many comparisons can be drawn between the two respective acts. The pitched down soulful vocal and soft synths work together so sweetly and are really indicative of the type of house music sound that is catching fire in the world of electronic music.
