Blending his talents for both rapping and electric guitar, Random Impulse is set for big things having already reached an impressive array of career achievements including features in RWD, MTV, The Huffington Post, The Sun and BBC 2, support slots for Ed Sheeran, Professor Green, Tinchy Stryder and The Wombats and synch deals for HBO’s Bones and CBS’s NCIS: Los Angeles. The boundary pushing artist is now working with the likes of Guy Chambers, Future Cut, Semothy Jones and Brian West, and his SB.TV released visual for debut single ‘Overload’ managed to become the 4th most viewed YouTube video in the UK.
‘Power’ comes from Random Impulse’s ‘Refix’ series, which sees him reinventing hit records, and attracts 1500 viewers per day to his YouTube channel and is available for free download via two collected volumes. This particular track sees him reinterpret Kanye West’s critically acclaimed 2010 single, using it as a medium for a call to arms for artists to seize the power in the music industry back from the labels. If ever there was an example of someone proactively taking control of their own career, then it’s Random Impulse.
