UMT:VOX teams vocalists, MCs and rappers aged 16 - 24 with regional production mentors - enabling you to develop your own style and skills, record industry standard tracks, work in a professional studio environment and receive expert industry training and artist development.

UMT:VOX seeks to explore, encourage and enable new creative talents within urban music through one to one mentorships from the region's finest urban producers and where possible will establish links with UMT:BEATS.
Working alongside professional producers you will:
- Write music and lyrics to their beats
- Promote and manage events
- Perform at a club night in the heart of Newcastle
