Amelia Derrick

Marketing and Communication Manager

Big news for the North East creative scene: Generator has partnered with leading creative industry accountants Hardwick & Morris to help nurture the next wave of local talent.

This collaboration is designed to give emerging artists, songwriters, producers, and behind-the-scenes professionals the tools and guidance they need to turn their passion into sustainable, long-term careers. At the heart of the partnership are monthly drop-in sessions at Generator HQ, where creatives can access expert advice on finances, taxes, bookkeeping, and career management.

Olivia Fuller from Hardwick & Morris will be on hand offering free 30-minute one-to-one sessions, providing tailored guidance for the unique challenges faced by music professionals. These sessions are part of Generator’s wider commitment to support the growth of the North East’s music sector, helping creatives take control of their finances while building a professional foundation for success.

Spaces are limited, so aspiring artists and music professionals are encouraged to book their slot early. By combining Generator’s creative expertise with Hardwick & Morris’s industry knowledge, this partnership promises real advice with real impact, a practical step toward sustainable careers in the region’s vibrant music scene.

Head over to our What’s On page for the latest drop-in session and sign-up information. We also offer free, one-to-one MIAG advice sessions, covering everything from funding, music law, and A&R to touring, management, and career acceleration. No gatekeeping. No jargon.
