Sonic Futures x PRS Foundation: MARKETPLACE and Risco

The PRS Foundation and Sonic Futures are proud to present an evening of music showcasing the best of recent PPL Momentum Music Fund grantees.

Taking place on Thursday 21st May at Town Hall Theatre Hartlepool, the gig will be headlined by home-town favourites MARKETPLACE, fresh off the back of their biggest UK tour to date, as well as showcases at SXSW in Texas, and New Colossus in New York

Drawing on influences from a wide range of artists including Alvvays, Declan McKenna, Pulp and Talking Heads, they have developed their own brand of indie pop masterpieces, which has earned them a devoted fanbase along the way.

Support comes from Stockton-on-Tees’ trio Risco, a band gaining momentum thanks to their electrifying, high-energy performances. Their packed touring schedule has taken them to iconic Camden venues like Dingwalls and The Good Mixer, where they’ve played to capacity audiences.
